Peachtree Business Park

From Raw Ground to Ready Pad

Summit Construction & Development was brought on by a design-build partner to deliver the sitework package for the Peachtree Business Park in DeKalb County. The site presented existing drainage that had to stay live through construction. We worked night shifts on the roadway tie-ins, self-performing asphalt, concrete, clearing so the job stayed on one schedule with one point of accountability. The project was completed within the contract term, turning the site over ready for vertical construction.

Scope of work
  • Formed and poured 87,500 SF of heavy-duty truck apron
  • Placed 4,600 tons of asphalt across the drive aisles and loading area
  • Milled and resurfaced 70,000 SF of existing pavement
  • Cleared and grubbed 27 acres with erosion control in from day one
  • Completed with full OSHA compliance and zero recordables
  • Staked limits of disturbance and protected specimen trees
  • Poured 2,450 LF of curb & gutter and all ADA ramps
