Auburn Business Park

From Raw Ground to Ready Pad

Summit Construction & Development was brought on by a retail development group to deliver the sitework package for the Auburn Business Park in Cobb County. The site presented an active adjacent roadway with strict traffic control requirements. We sequenced clearing and grading to run in parallel, self-performing utilities, clearing, concrete so the job stayed on one schedule with one point of accountability. The project was completed on schedule, turning the site over fully paved and striped.

Scope of work
  • Staked limits of disturbance and protected specimen trees
  • Installed 1,600 LF of water main including fire service and hydrants
  • Poured 5,250 LF of curb & gutter and all ADA ramps
  • Completed with full OSHA compliance and zero recordables
  • Removed and hauled off 66 truckloads of timber and brush
  • Installed 2,750 LF of storm drainage plus 12 detention structures
  • Formed and poured 84,500 SF of heavy-duty truck apron
